North Walsham Chamber of Trade was setup following meeting of the traders group and council. Here some of the issues that the
traders group and chamber are currently working on or achieved.
- Free parking in North Walsham for Christmas 2007 -
Council arranged free parking in all pay and display on Saturdays in December - Chamber promoted though posters sent to members. (achieved)
- Promotion of North Walsham in local papers - North Norfolk News will be promoting the town though a chamber page with discount advertising
rates to members (achieved)
- Enhancing North Walsham - chamber is looking into promoting an improvement day. Also trying to smarten
up the town. (on going)
- Pigeons - The chamber is in consolation with both Town and District council. (ongoing)
- Green Bags - We
are in process of obtain quotes for reusable bags (ongoing)
